99 Scholarships
EASTERN NEW ENGLAND CHAPTER SCHOLARSHIPS
The Eastern New England Chapter of The Ninety-Nines, International Organization of Women Pilots, announces three 2013 scholarships available for women and men studying for a career in aviation or training in aviation.
The Eastern New England Scholarships for 2013 are:
· Pat Theberge Honorary Scholarship: $1,500 Open to both men and women
· William Bridge Scholarship:
$1,500 Open to women with at least a private pilot's certificate
· Ann Wood Kelly Memorial Scholarship:
$1,500 Open to women with at least a private pilot's certificate
NEW ENGLAND SECTION SCHOLARSHIPS
The New England Section of The Ninety-Nines offers one scholarship, in memory of New Hampshire aviator Shirley Mahn, who died at the controls of her Piper Aztec.
· Shirley Mahn Memorial Scholarship:
$1,500 Open to both men and women
All scholarships require a New England connection. The applicant must be either a resident of one on the six New England states, or studying in New England. For questions and applications for all four scholarships, email your request to lmaarch@aol.com.
